The all-new Sentra is a testament of how Nissan is in continuous search to hone its reputation as a company that offers vehicles that are stylish, roomy and fun-to-drive.
The all-new Sentra is a result of how NMPI is keeping up with the changing needs of consumers. First off, the Sentra 200 comes from Nissan’s Global C sedan platform with styling cues belonging to a new generation of Nissan design concept that evokes presence and prestige. Secondly, it promises powerful yet fuel efficient and comfortable driving performance with the integration of impressive technology such as the Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) and the 6-speed Manual Transmission known to Nissan.

In creating this new generation of Sentra, the Nissan Design Team ensured that this sedan will command distinction on the road with its longer wheelbase, more sophisticated headlight and tail light design, refined front fascia and grille, fog light covers plus new body side moldings with chrome inserts and trunk finishers. All these coordinately-designed features make this new model a true head turner on the road.
Its appeal on the road is complemented by the engineering found under the hood. The Sentra provides an exceptional driving experience with its powerful new generation MR20 aluminum, 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder engine fitted with either a Xtronic CVT (Continuous Variable Transmission) or a 6-speed manual transmission. Drivers are sure to experience driving bliss with the Sentra’s engine power delivering 140 horsepower and 199nm/4800rpm of torque. Its aluminum engine contributes to lighter weight resulting to less vibration and excellent fuel efficiency.
Handling is at its best with the integration of first class suspension system found in premium models. The Sentra is equipped with Independent Strut front suspension and torsion bar rear axle with integrated stabilizer bar and Ripple shock absorber and rebound springs that make for the excellent balance in riding comfort and maneuverability.
Unexpected versatility
Those living an active lifestyle demand more versatility and flexibility in almost everything to meet the demands of their busy work, family and leisure schedules. The Sentra epitomizes how a sedan can be for both work and play with its unexpected amenities. Starting-off with its space capacity, the Sentra’s cargo flexibility is designed to accommodate long, bulky oversized items that do not usually fit in a regular sedan. The 60/40 split double folding rear seats can accommodate leisure and sports equipment such as golf clubs, bikes or camping luggage without trading off room for the passengers. The trunk has the “divide-and-hide” feature perfect for safekeeping valuables like laptops and other gadgets. The extra-wide trunk opening makes for the versatility in hauling luggage in and out of the vehicle and finally, a waterproof panel and cargo net is made available to keep cargo in place.

Safety of Nissan owners is a top priority which is why the all-new Sentra 200 is equipped with safety features that include the Nissan Advanced Air Bag System (AABS), Sentra Tabular Door for the side impact protection, Electronic Brake Distribution, Anti-lock Brake System and Monocoque Body, which is a one piece body structure that provides rigidity, flexibility, lightness, resistance and shock absorption. The Nissan Sentra has already received five (5) star rating, the highest rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) for front-impact crash safety.

The Nissan Sentra 200 will be available at Nissan Dealers in June 2010, in automatic transmission with CVT (Continuous Variable Transmission) or in 6-Speed Manual Transmission. The Sentra200 will be on display in leading malls in Metro Manila.
